Mangle Point, locally known as Punta Mangle, is one of the only two sites you can visit on Fernandina Island, and it is an excellent snorkerling site. Located on the eastern side of Fernandina, with shores surrounded by mangroves, it is a natural sheltered inlet, rich in wildlife below and above water. You can spot sharks, sea lions, penguins Galapagos rays and sea turtles, but also marine iguanas, flightless cormorants, pelicans and Darwin's finches. There's no landing point, so you'll have to snorkel off the dinghy ride to reach Mangle Point.
