Cowley Islet is a small island off the coast of Isabela Island. It was named after Ambrose Cowley, an English pirate who made the first navigational charts of Galapagos. It is a perfect spot for diving, due to the diversity of marine life you can encounter here: sea lions, sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, penguins, manta rays and even sea horses, shaped just like the Isabela Island. On the seabed, you can admire the myriad of colors of corals and sponges. Snorkeling is also a favorite here, as everything is simply stunning.
