Cape (Cabo) Douglas is a spectacular dive site, on the North West side of Fernandina Island, one of the central Galapagos islands. Being one of the most pristine places in Galapagos due to its active volcano "La Cumbre", it offers the thrilling opportunity to see many rare species above and below the water: the flightless cormorant, Galapagos marine iguanas and Galapagos penguins. You can dive in Galapagos all year-round, but to experience all the wonderful opportunities if can offer, the best time is from June to December, when larger species of sharks and whales migrate to the islands.
