DAY 1

LIMA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – LIMA

DAY 2

Private half-day tour in Lima to Aliaga House, Cathedral and Larco Museum – [Private].

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin your Historic Center of Lima tour. You’ll start by visiting the Aliaga House, a colonial mansion with over 5 centuries of history, considered the oldest house in the Americas. Then, you’ll explore the Plaza Mayor, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can visit the imposing Lima Cathedral. Finally, you’ll visit the Larco Museum, located in the traditional district of Pueblo Libre. The museum boasts a comprehensive collection of pre-Hispanic gold and silver objects and a selection of erotic art pieces.

Explore the enchanting and historic city of Cusco, once the capital of the Inca empire. Begin with a visit to the Santo Domingo Convent, built on the foundations of the Coricancha temple. Next, discover the impressive Cathedral Basilica of the Virgin of the Assumption, the main church in town that houses a rich collection of colonial artworks, featuring impressive golden altarpieces, paintings from the renowned Cusco School, and religious sculptures. Explore the ancient hills of Cusco, including the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, the Qenqo archaeological complex, and the Puca Pucara military complex. Conclude with a visit to Tambomachay, known as the Inca spa and, finally, return to your hotel.

The Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC), included in the itinerary, is a personal and non-transferable document that provides access to 16 important attractions in Cusco and its surroundings, such as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. It also allows entry to various sites in the Sacred Valley Circuit, including Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Moray, and Chinchero.

Cusco - Maras and Moray

Today, you are picked up from your hotel in Cusco to visit the archaeological sites of Maras and Moray. In Moray, you explore its enigmatic concentric circular terraces, designed with different microclimates. Maras stands out for its impressive complex of actively exploited salt mines, these pre-Columbian salt ponds continue to function today, creating a dazzling scene.

DAY 5

Machu Picchu

Our transportation service and a representative take you from your selected hotel in Cusco to Ollantaytambo station.

Board the Inca Rail’s Voyager train from Ollantaytambo station to Aguas Calientes station (Machu Picchu Town) and receive assistance upon your arrival. Your return trip to Ollantaytambo station will also be on board the 360° train. Each journey lasts about one and a half hours, and schedules are subject to availability.

Aguas Calientes, located on the slopes of Machu Picchu, features a lively craft market, various restaurants, and lodging options. Just a 25-minute bus ride away is Machu Picchu, an impressive architectural and engineering marvel believed to have been a sanctuary and retreat for the Inca Pachacutec. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu translates to “Old Mountain,” which enchants visitors with its historical grandeur and natural beauty. After the visit, return by bus to Aguas Calientes.

* Remember to confirm your reservation as soon as possible to proceed with the purchase of tickets in advance due to the limited capacity of the citadel. The specific circuit to visit Machu Picchu and schedule will be selected according to availability at the time of reservation confirmation.

DAY 6

Machu Picchu - Cusco

Have a morning free to enjoy in Aguas Calientes. Optionally, you can return to Machu Picchu to visit the citadel’s attractions. We suggest waking up early to watch the sunrise over the mountain. It’s an unforgettable experience! In the afternoon, begin the journey back to Cusco.

Cusco - Lima

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

· All rates are per person and apply to foreign passengers only.
· Prices are subject to change without notice and can only be guaranteed after booking.
· Rates do not apply to residents with a stay longer than 60 days or to corporate passengers (from 4 nights or more in Lima).
· Reservations must include each passenger’s full name, nationality, passport number, age and date of birth.
· If the suggested/listed hotels for this program are not available at the time of confirmation, we will offer new hotel alternatives with revised prices.
· Early arrival on day 1 does not guarantee the availability of hotel rooms. Standard check-in times apply, unless additional nights of accommodations are purchased to ensure immediate access to rooms.
· Our accommodation rates include breakfast. Breakfasts have assigned schedules according to the policies of each hotel establishment, being generally between 06:00 – 10:00; if the passenger has a transfer or withdraw before the assigned time, the passenger will lose this benefit, not being able to be compensated in another hotel. The services of Room Service or of a box breakfast have an additional cost and don’t compensate the breakfast that can’t be served.
· For reservations with train services to Machu Picchu, the seats are assigned according to the availability of the car. Locations can only be arranged after the ticket has been issued.

· The entrance to Machu Picchu or any other ticket purchase outside this time range, is not considered within these cancellation fees. Once it is issued, a 100% cost of the ticket will be charged.

· Inca Trail packages, Machu Picchu Citadel entrance, Machu Picchu Mountain and Huayna Picchu entrance, Amazonian cruises, trains and other special services are subject to cancellation charges indicated by your reservation specialist at the time of confirmation.

· The tickets to Machu Picchu will be purchased as soon as we have the passenger’s information. Once purchased, in case of cancellation, the 100% cost of the ticket will be charged.

 

INFORMATION ABOUT THE ENTRANCE IN PERU

Confirm with your embassy if you need a VISA to enter Peru (or any other country included in your itinerary). We are not responsible if a guest does not have all the necessary documentation to enter the country. The foreigner who travels to Peru must ensure that the validity of his passport is not less than six months to enter the national territory.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

We recommend comfortable and light clothing for visiting the coastal areas of Peru and warm clothes for the high Andean area. Visitors are not advised to wear sleeves shirts, shorts, short skirts or short clothing when visiting religious temples or official buildings. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ENVIRONMENTALLY AND CULTURALLY RESPONSIBLE TRAVEL

· Do not feed or buy wild animals, always try to keep your distance.
· Avoid buying endemic plants and products derived from endangered species.
· Minimize water use; do not leave faucets or showers running.
· Reduce energy use: turn off lights, air conditioning, and unplug your charger when not in use.
· Reduce plastic use: Choose refillable water and recycle your disposable bottles.
· Avoid the use of sprays, including repellents, suntan lotions, sunscreens, etc.
· Ask permission before taking someone’s picture.
· Do not include minors in the photos.
· Respect local beliefs and traditions.
· Respect the indications for the preservation of the material heritage.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT MACHU PICCHU

ENTRANCE & GUIDE:
· The first entrance to the citadel requires the mandatory accompaniment of a guide. Please note that the guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
· The route to visit the Machu Picchu citadel and schedules are subject to availability.
· For the purchase of tickets to Machu Picchu it is necessary to send full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number of passengers, which must match the current passport that will be used for the trip. It is important to take into account that the entrance tickets to the citadel are non-refundable from the time of purchase.
LUGGAGES:
· If passengers spend the night in the Sacred Valley, we will take care of transferring the luggage to the hotel in Cusco. On the other hand, if they stay in Cusco, the luggage will remain in the hotel storage.
· Carry the same document that you presented, given that train tickets and entrance to Machu Picchu will be issued with this information.
· In all train services to Machu Picchu, the passenger may carry only hand luggage (backpack, bag or briefcase) of no more than 5 kg/ 11 lb on the train to/from Machu Picchu. You will find your luggage at the chosen hotel.
